Shortcut Shepherd's Pie


15 oz can whole kernel corn
15 oz can green beans (not French cut)
1 can tomato soup
1# lean ground beef
Garlic powder to taste
1 small onion, diced


Brown ground beef in skillet until no longer pink. Add onions and garlic powder and stir until well mixed. Add soup and vegetables and continuing cooking at low heat until soup is thickened (about 30 minutes.) Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
