Fruity Jello Salad


  • 1 package red jello
  • 2 apples chopped or diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 15-oz. can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 15-oz can mandarin oranges
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans chopped (optional)


Drain juice from all fruit.  Prepare Jello according to package directions.  Allow to cool until partially set.  When Jello is partially set carefully fold in fruit, celery, and chopped nuts.  Return to refrigerator and serve when Jello and fruit are set (allow at least 2 hours before serving)

Yields 6-8 servings
