6 Week Muffins

Get some bran cereal and make some yummy muffins!


  • 2-1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • 3-1/4 Cups Bran Cereal with Raisins
  • 1-1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2-1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Quart Buttermilk
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil


Mix cereal, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and soda together.  Add eggs, oil and buttermilk and mix well. 

Line muffin tin with cupcake papers.  Fill papers half way with muffin mix and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. 

Store any leftover muffin mix in a tightly covered jar in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. 

Additional Tips

This is a great mix to have on hand for those days that you need a fast but foolproof breakfast or snack item.  Kids love the muffins - hot or cold
