The National Association of Family Child Care Providers' (NAFCC) mission is to "promote quality child by care strengthening the profession of family child care."
A few of the many ways accomplish their mission is by:
- Providing an accreditation program that encourages a warm, safe and educational environment for children to thrive in. A provider that is nationally accredited by these standards can assert that he or she is a high quality program accredited by a nationally recognized program.
- Providing online trainings, webinars, onsite trainings and articles for your business by well respected individuals such as Tom Copeland.
- Hosting a conference for family child care providers and supporting organizations to learn from each other and network.
- They also work with NACCRA for the Provider Appreciation Day.
NAFCC has announced its conference date which is July 21-23 in 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are more details to be released regarding schedules and speakers but start saving now!
